Kind of evens out all 3 to where none are great, but none are mediocre either. it does good recoil reduction, good muzzle control and good flash suppression. The Fighter Brake is probably the best "jack of all trades" brake. The VG6 is a fantastic brake with great recoil reduction, good muzzle rise, and mediocre flash suppression. Flash suppression is ok, and recoil reduction is very solid The Meridian Defense BD-2 and BD-3 are great for muzzle rise. absolutely shit for flash hiding though, and it's braking abilities are so so. The bulgarian 4 piece is great for sbrs and AK pistols because it directs gasses forward and away from the shooter, as well as adding back pressure to help cycle the gun. What's most important to you? Flash, muzzle rise, or recoil reduction Also, recoil impulse is unique to each person, and what brake one person finds feels the best to them may not feel the best to another ![]() A flash hider and a muzzle brake are two differently designed creatures, and are not always completely symbiotic. usually you find the one you want tamed the most, and then tweak from there as it's near impossible to find one that does all 3 great at once. Another will do GREAT at muzzle rise and recoil reduction, but shit for flash etc etc etc. some will do great at hiding flash, but not affect muzzle rise as much, and does moderate at recoil reduction. Most muzzle devices won't do all of those evenly. These rules are also posted every time you submit a link or self post so don't say you didn't see them. Don't like it, get over it and go somewhere else. We have to follow ATF laws and those are too muddy for a place like Reddit. ![]() ![]() "I wanted to invent an engine that could run for ever. ![]()
